Illy is a CMS-certified sommelier and restaurant consultant whose work centres on wine, spirits, and the experiences around them. With more than 12 years in hospitality, she brings a thoughtful, welcoming approach to every tasting.
For our launch, she’s chosen four wines that show just how varied the natural-wine world can be. Come curious. She’ll take it from there.

Do I need wine experience?+
Not at all. Natural Wine 101 is designed for curious beginners and wine lovers alike. Ask anything — there are no wrong questions.
What’s included in the ticket?+
The Hallo-Wine ticket includes a guided tasting of four wines, paired appetizers from Menaggio’s kitchen, one post-tasting drink at the bar, and admission to the restaurant’s Halloween party afterwards.
Where is Menaggio, and is there parking?+
You’ll find Menaggio Ristorante Wine Bar & Grill inside Monte Carlo Inn & Suites – Downtown Markham, at 7255 Warden Avenue, Markham. Free on-site parking is available.
Can I come solo?+
Absolutely. Most guests come solo, and the shared tasting makes it easy to meet people. Come as you are — we’ll save you a seat.
